Policy
1. General Terms
All electrical services provided by Reid’s Electrical Services LLC (“the Company”) are performed by licensed and insured electricians in accordance with all applicable local, state, and national electrical codes. By booking, scheduling, or paying for any service, the customer (“Client”) agrees to the terms outlined in this policy.
2. Service Call Deposit & Payment Terms

A non-refundable deposit is required to confirm all service calls, diagnostics, or scheduled appointments.

The deposit amount will be credited toward the final invoice total if the Client proceeds with the recommended service or repair.

Deposits are non-transferable and non-refundable under all circumstances, including cancellations or rescheduling made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.

Full payment of the remaining balance is due immediately upon completion of work, unless otherwise stated in writing.

Accepted payment methods include cash, credit/debit card, Zelle, or approved electronic transfer.
3. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Clients must provide at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule or cancel a confirmed appointment.

Cancellations made without proper notice will result in forfeiture of the deposit.

The Company reserves the right to reschedule or delay service due to unforeseen circumstances, weather, safety issues, or material availability.
4. Scope of Work & Estimates

Written or verbal estimates are provided based on initial information or inspection.

If unforeseen electrical issues or code violations are discovered, additional labor and material charges may apply.

All changes to scope or pricing must be approved by the Client in writing before additional work is performed.
5. Warranty & Liability

The Company provides a limited workmanship warranty of 30 days on completed repairs and installations, unless otherwise specified in writing.

Warranty coverage excludes issues caused by client negligence, misuse, tampering, weather events, third-party work, or non-company installations.

The Company shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of power, equipment failure, or property damage resulting from pre-existing electrical conditions.
6. Safety & Access

The Client must ensure safe and unobstructed access to all electrical panels, outlets, and work areas.

If conditions are deemed unsafe, the technician may refuse service until hazards are resolved.

Pets must be secured during the service visit for the safety of all parties.
7. Emergency & After-Hours Service

24-hour emergency calls are subject to after-hours or expedited service rates, which will be disclosed at the time of booking.

Emergency response times may vary based on technician availability and location.
8. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting payment, booking a service, or signing an estimate, the Client acknowledges they have read, understood, and agreed to all terms stated herein. These terms are legally binding and enforceable under the laws of the State of New York.
